Before we start our projects, I want to share some important details about our building. It is ideal for small gatherings of 10 to 15 people. The venue has convenient bathrooms and plenty of counter space. It is also close to stores and restaurants, making it a lively activity spot. We are fortunate because a generous donor is paying the lease for the next three years and the utilities and internet services. We will handle garbage, city water, permits, inspections, and fines together. If all goes well, he wants to help us open a second location in Chico. I believe we can attract 3 to 12 people in our first year! I have started to create a digital binder, which in military terms is called a continuity book or Special Care Organizational Record (SCOR). If you want more information about the digital binder, please see the information below. Leaders often encounter challenges when they exceed budgets or take shortcuts, making careful planning essential. The absence of a digital binder can lead to disorganization. I'm eager to share more information soon, including the opening of the digital project file for all initiatives.
1️⃣ First is The B.E.A.R. Project, which I'm excited about! The company is giving us a discount and will ship directly to homes. So far, we've shipped five bears to children in need. The B.E.A.R. program celebrates children's worth and potential. The name stands for: I am - Blessed (EPHESIANS 1:3), Equipped (EPHESIANS 2:10), Accepted (ROMANS 15:7), and Redeemed (EPHESIANS 1:7). The B.E.A.R. helps children with their evening prayers. It recites three prayers with the push of a button and plays the song "Jesus Loves Me." It’s made from soft, cuddly polyester and can be personalized with a name of up to nine characters. I plan to launch this project in three weeks. The website will be at www.thebear.rocks, and while it is still in the planning stage, I can't wait to make it live! Visit the website www.TheBear.Rocks.
2️⃣ I also plan to create a webpage called "Second Chance." This site will focus on Redemption and Renewal. Its central message will be that everyone deserves a chance to rebuild their lives and contribute to society, no matter their past. About one in three American adults, or 70 million people, have a criminal record, showing how important it is to offer second chances. With over 600,000 people rejoining society each year, we have a great opportunity to support their growth. This webpage is still in development at www.SecondChance.Living.
3️⃣ Last month was inspiring because I received many prayer requests. To manage this, I’m working on a Prayer Wall (you can preview it at www.needprayer.today, although it is still in development). I’ve shared it with 25 people for feedback and to fix any issues. I’m improving the editing features and making it easier to manage requests. I’ve also created a prayer stats bar for the webpage and want to launch it in 30 days. This will let people submit their prayer requests online and give us another chance to introduce our organization. The best part is that we can pray with them or offer help if needed!
4️⃣ I’m excited to update you on the GROWTH Project, an ongoing adventure for us! I’ve prepared a report in the website's section tab 3. If you haven’t looked at "GROWTH: IS THE LIFEBLOOD OF OUR ORGANIZATION CHAPTER 1," please visit www.cajailoutreach.store for more details.
5️⃣ Camp GROWTH 2026 is also making progress! I have started to create a digital binder, which in military terms is called a continuity book or Special Care Organizational Record (SCOR). These binders help keep important information about people and projects to maintain knowledge and consistency. I learned to make these binders in a physical format, but switching to a digital system has been exciting! It's impressive to see how technology, including AI, improves our work. I have experience in planning, updating, and executing projects effectively. I’ll keep everything organized in the digital file, including Vendor Orders, Drawings, Spec Sheets, Site Surveys, Finishes, Schedules, Sample Boards, Program Schedules, Cost Estimates, Procurement, and Research. It's also essential to keep all information updated every three months. I am focused on this digital binder and will share it with the organization once I finish the first phase. I also look forward to attending another camp from June 30th to July 18th. I want to work with another organization to make our camp the best choice in California.
6️⃣ I’m thrilled to share news about The Book of John Project! We received good news that Katherine approved the salvation part of our mini-book, and we are now finalizing the Book of John. Our team is designing attractive covers that reflect our organization’s mission and vision. I have requested that two items be glued instead of stapled to follow jail system guidelines. This is important for the religious materials we will distribute. The upcoming booklet will highlight the Second Chance Project, and each pocket-sized Gospel of John will include the full text and insights on developing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The booklets will measure 3.75″ W x 5.25″ H when closed, making them easy to carry. I am excited about this project's positive impact on those who receive it, and I look forward to seeing the changes it brings!
Ephesians 6:19-20
And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
7️⃣ I have a passion for coffee and love exploring different blends! My wife enjoys Black Rifle Coffee, a great veteran-owned brand we keep stocked at home. I recently discovered a new coffee company that lets us create our own branded products online, and we can buy in bulk at wholesale prices for our upcoming events. They have options like single-serve coffee pods, bags of coffee, and instant coffee. I’m working on two coffee bag designs before moving onto the pods and instant coffee, aiming to finalize everything in 45 days for our events!
8️⃣ I'm excited to announce our upcoming Prayer Card initiative! We're designing a beautifully crafted Prayer Card in EDDM format to invite individuals to share their prayer requests. It will include prompts to help people reflect on their prayers. We encourage everyone to keep the card handy and share it with those needing support. We will focus solely on prayer, avoiding discussing salvation or donations. I can’t wait to update everyone on our progress with this meaningful project!
9️⃣ Thank you for your ideas on the event table project! After consideration, we need to revisit the design, especially the graph colors, to ensure it reflects our care and thoughtfulness. I look forward to working on this and will update you on our progress. Your support means a lot, so please keep this project in your prayers as we refine our vision together!
We are excited to share the logos and images for our upcoming projects! Each item includes its title, completion percentage, and current phase: **Crawl, Walk, or Run.
